Låt denna fantastiska matkultur locka dig med tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas eller vardagsrätter med en Tex Mex-twist! ## Rätter med inspiration från Mexico och Texas Det mexikanska köket bygger starkt på aztekisk och spansk matkultur. Rätterna innehåller ofta ingredienser som tomat, avokado, ris, majs och svarta bönor och kryddas med djupa och intensiva smaker. Lime och koriander adderar friska inslag och chili tillför hetta. På ingredienslistan kan man också hitta sötpotatis eller kryddor som kanel och kakao. **”Tex Mex är en kombination av *Texas* och *Mexiko* och beskriver en matkultur som kombinerar det mexikanska köket med det amerikanska köket i Texas”** Tex Mex uppstod när det mexikanska köket kombinerades med de köttiga rätterna typiska för Texas. Tex Mex är relativt okomplicerat att laga och innefattar exempelvis tillbehör som tortilla och nachos. Rätterna tillagas snabbt och kan enkelt anpassas efter olika smakpreferenser! ## Mexikansk mat i våra svenska kök Kryddig och färgglad mexikansk mat har letat sig in i många svenska hem, ofta med en försvenskad touch. “Swedish tacos” kan man nästan kalla för en nationalrätt! Även om tacos är en favorit från det mexikanska köket får vi inte förbise alla de andra fantastiska Tex Mex-rätterna som livar upp våra smaklökar oavsett årstid! ## Tex Mex-recept [
